  • Building a Soil Sifter / Rotary Trommel

亚洲 欧美 中文 日韩-Hi, go for it! I don't see why you couldn't build it with a timber frame. You'll need some brackets to mount the motor and pulley wheel. But a course in welding would get you started and 2nd hand welders are cheap. Thanks for your comments.

    a无限资源无限看播放器-Like a churning barrel?

超大揭示板-Sounds like a great use for a small trommel. And going on a previous comment, with the right gearing you may be able to use a battery drill to run it, so long as it was small enough and you could hear it correctly.

5566fxyy-Fantastic, I’m pleased you’re inspired. I’d love to see your build when it’s complete.

a无限资源无限看播放器-Oh yes I can see how that looks! The little peoples’ hands were over a foot away as they were separated by the barrow. But you’re correct, guards should cover the castors and something over the flywheel pulley would be best too.

亚洲 欧美 中文 日韩-The can method of forging spokes (and using the bicycle frame) is a brilliant idea. Maybe it wasn't hot enough? Or the alloy in the spokes stopped them welding properly? I was lucky that the spokes I had available welded together well. Thanks for sharing your story.
