The large area of the turning jig in combination with the bandsaw table jig with the stop allows for a controlled cutting.You are right to point out about using a bandsaw blade with a high TPI which would be used for cross cutting timber and I would not think about using a low TPI resaw blade, far too coarse. I appreciate the heads up on this and I have added this advise in the Instructable which I was remiss in missing first time around.I am a believer in creative thought and exploring new possibilities and of course the chess piece could very easily and undoubtedly more easily be turned on a lathe though that was not the idea behind the project. This technique takes a fair amount of time to set up with the making of jigs though gives good results and interesting possibilities.

超大揭示板-Grind away as much as possible for the outside of the shape will help, then practice on scrap piece of wood to work out best heat to the mail head and length of time held on timber for the brand. Due to the tiny size of the branding iron there is a tendency of scorching though excellent results are easily achieved. Give it a go!

Super fortunate that Evolution asked me to test out this their newest sliding mitre saw, well designed and built and so unique in that it is as you say built to cut wood, metal and plastic and all at the same time!

Takes time...

5566fxyy-It was hung intentionally as made as it directly references the paper star lanterns that can be bought, the lead comes out of the inner point and so hangs as shown. Of course bring the wire out of a point and I guess it would represent the Christmas star if this is what you want to achieve. It will look great
