超大揭示板-Thanks. Remembering is what I’m after here. I have the “paperclip computer” book and making one is on my short list for future projects. I think it would be fun to re-imagine some of the components with 3D printed parts, leds instead of lights, etc.

If I were doing it again I would probably:- Print the base as two pieces, a top and a bottom, then bolt them together. The top would be pretty much what's there now but a little thinner. The bottom would include all of the fiddly bits that you have to glue on now just printed on.- Simplify the flip flop mounting mechanism.- Shift the trigger to the right a bit as you suggested and make it thicker.- Eliminate the gluing. The stand would just bolt on, etc.Not sure what happened with your trigger lock. All of mine fit snugly but without problems.I thought the stand worked pretty well. In fact someone over on Thingiverse made a case that incorporated the stand as a locking mechanism. See:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3535015Thanks for taking the time to make a Dr. Nim and for sharing your experience.Mike

亚洲 欧美 中文 日韩-I looked at hand presses but they didn't have enough "reach" to get to all of the rivets (some of which were 4 inches from an edge). If you are aware of a model that would reach I would certainly consider getting one.
